My greatest passion is playing the clarinet. From the moment I started playing at age ten, I knew this was
my purpose.
I grew up in New York state and moved to Boston to pursue a career in music at The Boston Conservatory.
After graduating I continued advanced clarinet study in New York while developing my teaching practice and solo performing
career.
I have an extensive performing background as a solo recitalist and chamber musician. I have been a
featured soloist with several New England ensembles and have performed clarinet recitals on concert series at universities,
music schools and art centers.
A few years ago, I was introduced to the Alexander Technique and have since
become a devoted student. I have worked intensively with master teachers in Massachusetts, Illinois, Greece, and
Spain. Through these studies, I continue to make new discoveries in my own playing and teaching of the clarinet which I bring
to my students, leading them to develop individuality and expressiveness in their music making along with a high level of
technical ability on their instrument.
