Private Instruction:
All of my teaching is at my home studio in Sharon, MA. Private
lessons are once per week for either 45, 60 or 75 minutes. I teach students age 10 to adult from beginning
to advanced levels. My students are from many communities
in Massachusetts including, Sharon, Canton, Mansfield, Easton, Foxboro, Wrentham, Walpole, Medfield, Dover, Sherborn, Norwood, and
Wellesley, Norfolk.
My teaching style focuses on leading each student to develop individuality
and expressiveness in their music making, along with a high level of technical ability on their instrument.
Lessons are tailored to the individual student's needs and goals. Studies include music theory, scales, and etudes, along
with solo and ensemble repertoire. I have an annual studio recital in the spring and many other performance opportunities
available throughout the school year.

I encourage students to participate in studio recitals
and special classes which I offer throughout the school year. (Examples of special classes I offer are Practice Auditions,
Performance Technique, and traditional master classes.)
Students are encouraged to play in an ensemble - a school or community ensemble or one of my clarinet ensembles.

For
those students seeking additional challenges, many audition and performance opportunities are available. These include Boston
area large ensembles (BYSO, MYWE, YPO), concerto competitions, Massachusetts District auditions, young artist competitions
and summer music camp auditions.
